NDC MPs Were Forced And Threatened To Bus People To 'Kum Yen Preko' Demo - Nana B Reveals

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B has revealed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) threatened its Members of Parliament (MP) to bus people to the just ended 'Kum Yen Preko' demonstration or risk losing their seat.

The 'Kum Yen Preko' protest which was held on Tuesday, 9th July 2019, according to the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ) was against what they describe as hardship, insecurity, and oppression experienced under the current Akufo-Addo administration.

Nana B who was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', further revealed that the MPs held a meeting prior to the demonstration to strategize how to respond to the threats and maintain their seat.

"they really suffered in getting the 7000 people to attend the demo. The MPs had to bus people and give them money to attend the demonstration. I can say for a fact. They were threatened that if they don't bring people from their constituency, they will lose their seat" Nana B disclosed.
