According to a chart of international footballers� earnings published by Futebol Finance, the 28-year-old pockets �541,000 per month, totalling �6.5 million per annum. He now tops compatriot Didier Drogba who earns �5.5m a year as the highest paid Ivorian footballer. Continentally, Inter�s Samuel Eto�o beats every other African pro in terms of earnings. The Cameroonian scoops �875,000 monthly, totalling �10.5m per annum. He's tied with Real Madrid�s Kaka as the world�s fourth highest paid player behind top earner Cristiano Ronaldo (�1.083m/month) and Barcelona pair Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi. City�s Emmanuel Adebayor is Africa�s second highest paid professional and sixth in the world with a yearly salary of �8.5m.
