NDC Communicators Must Stop Trivializing National Issues; Be Responsible In Your Communication – Nana B On T’adi Kidnapped Girls

Henry Nana Boakye, the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), says NDC Communicators should be decorous in their communication, particularly on the air waves.

Nana B was reacting to some comments by NDC Communicator, Annim Piese, who speaking on Peace FM "Kokrokoo" blamed President Akufo-Addo and his government for recent spate of kidnapping in the country.

Anim Piesie stated that the President should be held responsible for the missing Takoradi girls.

In a quick response, Nana B used the same platform to caution Anim Piesie and the opposition party to stop trivializing national issues.

“I think it is high time those of us who speak on radio should be more responsible and decorous in our communication…Police as an institution predate even before independence, so it’s not a small institution that should be taken for granted instead should be allowed to do their work. We cannot continue to go this line because the issue of Takoradi missing girls is national issue which involves human life and should not be taken as a joke…this is a bit controversial issue", he said.

He therefore encouraged the Police to keep working hard to safeguard the citizenry and further advised the citizens to cooperate with the Police to curb crimes in the country.
