The Deputy Agric Minister, Hon George Oduro has disclosed that the ministry is poised and determined to equip farmers with new technological inventions to help improve the agricultural sector of the country.

Speaking at a press launch of the agric inputs and machinery fair, he explained that, the agric sector over the years has Withnessed technological (inputs and machinery) changes around the world as far as farming practices is concern hence, the need for Ghana's agric sector under governments flagship program planting for food and jobs to equip farmers with new inputs and machinery support to help boost agric productivity.

He added that, government is and will continue to implement measures that will improve upon the working scale of farmers with regards to its out in production therefore, the call on all to support governments vision of transforming the agric sector.

The Deputy Ashanti Regional minister, Hon Elizabeth Agyemang lauded the initiative which aims at equiping farmers, agric sector at large and urged for total inclusion of all into agriculture to help improve the livelihood and the economy.

Anim Addo of Despite media Ayeeko fame who in collaboration with the agric ministry is organizing the agric machinery and input fair spoke on the rationale behind the fair and it will affect the agric sector positively.
