The people of the Volta Region, Keta Municipality woke up to a historic arrival of a high powered delegation of Ghana Ports and Harbour led by the board Chairman Mr. Peter Mac Manu and the Director General Mr. Michael Luguje to introduce Dr. Alexander Yaw Edusei, Director for Keta Port.

The delegation met with the Dufia of Kedzi Torgbui Acolotse V to introduce the newly appointed Port Director.

The Dufia of Kedzi Torgbui Acolotse V on his part praised the delegation and pledged his support for the project.

The Dufia of Kedzi led the visiting delegation of Ghana Ports Authority to the Overlord of the Anlo State, Torgbui Sri III.

Following the introduction of the Keta Port Director, Torgbui Sri expressed great joy and gratitude to the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP government for the commitment to revive the port history of Keta.

Beyond gratitude to the President, Torgbui Sri III stated his unflinching support to the project whatever it takes.

“I am proud and vindicated that indeed, Volta Region and Ghana stand to gain when the NPP leads…I have every confidence that NPP will lift economic activities and help move Ghana's Industrialization agenda forward,” he said.
