Akufo-Addo’s Gov't Is The 'Worst Corrupt' In History – Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Former Deputy Information Minister and now parliamentary candidate elect for Abura Asebu Kwamang Kesse, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has described the NPP government as the "worst corrupt government ever" in the annals of the country's history.

According to him, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe is right when he called on President Akufo-Addo to resign.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu explained it is very worrying that all those involved in various corrupt practices under the NPP government have been cleared by the presidency.

He said a party that promised to eradicate graft is now wallowing in corruption and that there is no way they can fight corruption in their government.

"This current administration headed by Nana Akufo-Addo is the worst corrupt ever in Ghana's political history.....Ghanaians now feel very disappointed because their hope in this government has been dashed, and that they believe former President Mahama is the obvious choice for Ghanaians,"
he said.

He urged Ghanaians who have been left disappointed under this government to remain calm and consider former President Mahama as their obvious alternative in 2020.

Corruption Under Akufo-Addo Worst Ever - Nyaho Tamakloe

Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe earlier this week, described as worrying, President Akufo-Addo's posture towards allegations of corruption leveled against his appointees and officials in his government.

According to the founding member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), corruption in the current administration is the worst in the country’s history.

"The level of corruption under Akufo-Addo's government is the worst ever in the history of Ghana and if he doesn't take care, there'll be a civil unrest under his leadership just like the revolution that happened in the North of Africa," the Statesman and politician told Atinka FM’s presenter, Saddick Adams.

Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe’s outburst comes on the back of the recent documentary by investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, which exposed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) for alleged conflict of interest and corruption.
