People Must Be Prosecuted And Punished In PDS Scandal - Charles Owusu

An aide to the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, Charles Owusu is calling for the prosecution of everyone involved in the Power Distribution Services (PDS) scandal.

He said this issue (PDS) which has brought shame to the country must not be treated lightly and that, "people must be punished. This cannot be NDC, NPP and then the issue is forgotten . . . people must be prosecuted."

The ruling government in a statement dated Friday, October 18 announced the termination of the 25-year power concession agreement with PDS over irregularities found with the company’s demand guarantee.

Charles Owusu who was speaking to the termination of the deal on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' added that, "there are more questions than answers in this PDS deal . . . people must be punished. I don’t understand what the Energy Minister is talking about. Akufo-Addo must put his foot down . . . the deal must not just be cancelled; there must be prosecution."
