Richard Ahiagbah Appointed Head Of Danquah Institute

The Board of Governors of the Danquah Institute has named Richard Ahiagbah as the Acting Executive Director.

This follows sabbatical leave of Mr. Edward Kwaku Asomani, the Executive Director of the Institute.
Mr. Ahiagbah is said to come to the role with a rich experience.

Mr. Ahiagbah has a track record in policy research, legislative lobbying, regulatory reform and strong public policy background. He therefore comes to the Institute with a significant experience in electoral research and campaign strategy.

In 2012, Richard was a field organizer for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, a role he has performed on other senatorial and gubernatorial elections in the United States.

Prior to this appointment, Richard worked at the Fiscal Policy Centre and also as a Legislative Liaison for Oneok Hydrocarbons in the United States.

He is an alumnus of the West London College, Illinois Central College, Illinois State University and the University of Illinois.

Mr. Ahiagbah is a native of Aflao, married with one daughter.
