Ghana To Host One Africa Youth Conference Debut

Over 1000 delegates from 42 African countries to be hosted in Accra, Ghana, for the first ONE AFRICA YOUTH CONFERENCE (OAYC) in July, 2020

Pursuant to fostering a sustainable future for the African continent by means of upper-level deliberations and cooking up solutions that will propel Africa to hitting a home run, OAYC, a youth driven movement by the Development and Diplomacy Network (DDN) Africa, seeks to establish a communal link between youth across Africa and of African descent. OAYC is set an annual umbrella for all youth groups across the continent with active participation from governments and the private sector. OAYC is meant to offer a platform for youth from across Africa and beyond to hone their leadership prowess to tackle global issues. It is an ideal opportunity for diplomacy inclined youths who wish to face challenges that will push their abilities to the next level.

For OAYC debut, Accra, the capital city of Ghana, is set to host 1000+ delegates from across 42 African countries in July 2020. The conference will feature a good deal of great speakers including statesmen within Africa and beyond, Ambassadors from various countries in Ghana, High Commissioners from a number of countries, Ministers of State and Members of Parliament of various African Countries, outstanding diplomats and international relations experts, phenomenal Pan Africanists et al.

The conference’s itinerary is sorted under various headings, viz., simulation of the Model African Union (MAU), panel discussion on leadership, entrepreneurship and diplomacy, African culture night, innovation fair, career development seminars, ambassadorial dinner and awards night, Accra city tour, et cetera.
