Anim Piesie, a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress on Monday alleged that 200 tankers of premix fuel cannot be found or accounted for.

He was speaking to the 500 excavators that have gone missing after they were seized from illegal miners.

Anim Piesie who was speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ Anim Piesie said it is shocking that things keep vanishing under the ruling government citing the ‘missing 200 tankers’.

However, Nii Lante Bannerman, Chairman of the National Premix Fuel Committee committee in a quick rebuttal on the same platform denied Anim Piesie’s claim that 200 tankers have vanished.

“I am not surprised because the NDC doesn’t pay attention to detail…200 tankers missing? Are they pins that they cannot be found” he queried.

It however turned out that it was rather 200 reported instances of diverted pre-mix fuel from the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) as discovered by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
