Wendy Shay Didn't Introduce Me To RuffTown Records - Fantana Sets Records Straight
Singer Fantana has regretted telling Ghanaians that Wendy Shay introduced her to RuffTown Record and therefore wants to set the record straight.
According to Fantana, she becoming part of the RuffTown family, and her subsequent association with the Chief Executive Officer of their Record Label, Ricky Osei Agyemang popularly known as Bullet, is solely by her own doing and not through the assistance of Wendy Shay.
Fantana held a press conference via her Instagram telling her followers and music lovers that the management of the Record Label schemed with her to fabricate stories in favour of Wendy Shay, and she agreed to the plot because of her sisterly love for Wendy.
But, according to her, after feigning that she was helped by Wendy Shay to secure a deal with RuffTown Record, Wendy has rather reciprocated her kind gesture with ''evil'' and done a lot of bad things to her.
The Afrobeats singer appears fed up with what she says are the lies and character assassination by Wendy Shay, and therefore wants Ghanaians to know the true colors of her colleague (Wendy).
"She knows she never introduced me. She knows I don't even know her from anywhere. She knows I never even met her till I came to Ghana . . . I have proof and I have messages from me and Bullet since 2017, the songs he sent me to record since 2017 and everything, so I dare her. I dare everybody. The whole label knows that I've known Bullet years ago. She just came into the picture and she can't stand the fact I'm a threat to her.
''She's done so much to me behind closed doors . . . She's done so many things that if I can describe a human being as evil and someone with a black heart and wicked heart, it would be Wendy. She wants everything for herself. She only thinks about herself and she couldn't stand the fact that somebody else is coming on the label . . . She's so wicked and evil. I agreed and I was like, okay fine, I don't mind I will lie to everybody and say that Wendy introduced if that's what she wants and that's what is gonna make her happy . . . You know when people want something from you, so they're so nice and then when they get it, then they change. She depicted her true colors started showing after I told a lie."
''Wendy did not introduce me to RuffTown and that's the reason for all these problems and all these fights and all this beef. Wendy did not introduce me to RuffTown. I've known Bullet for four years. I've know him since 2017. I didn't know Wendy Shay from anywhere. My problem is not with RuffTown. My problem is with Wendy," Fantana fumed.
