The Euroget Group on Tuesday donated an ambulance to the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to improve health care delivery in the country.

This is in line with the fulfillment of a pledge the group made during the commissioning of the Wa Regional Hospital in August 2019.

The ambulance, which will be managed by the Wa Regional Hospital, is equipped with basic emergency kits such as oxygen inhaler, fire extinguisher, stretcher among others.

Dr Said Deraz, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Euroget Group, said the ambulance would serve as a means of an emergency operations in the Tamale and Wa municipalities.

He said his outfit is ready to support the government in this era of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, Director General, GHS, who received the donation on behalf of government, expressed gratitude for the gesture adding that the ambulance will serve a very useful purpose and help serve communities better.

He assured the group that the ambulance will be well maintained and kept in good condition to serve its intended purpose.

He thanked the CEO and the Euroget Group for their continuous support to the country over the years.
