The National Democratic Congress a few days ago, announced its 23-member campaign team for the 2020 election with Professor Joshua Alabi as the campaign Manager and Dr. Alex Segbefia as his deputy.

A statement issued by the party read: "All campaign activities will be under the policy direction of the National Steering Committee to be chaired by the National Chairman, Hon. Samuel Ofosu- Ampofo. In accordance with the Party’s constitution, the coordination of all the various aspects of the campaign will be under the leadership of the General Secretary, Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketiah."

Prior to this, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) had also announced its campaign team led by Peter Mac Manu, a former National Chairman of the party.

Reacting to this on 'The Platform' programme on Peace FM, Sammy Awuku, National Organiser of the NPP thinks the NDC's team is not formidable.

"We have a formidable team than the NDC," he told host Nana Yaw Kesseh.
