The National Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku says political parties are voted into power to solve problem and so the NPP has never run away from solving problems that confront them ever since they assumed office.

“NPP has never run away from problems - we always encounter problems and find a way to fix it and I believe this is one of the signs of a good leader,” he said.

Speaking on Joy News, he expounded that “the free SHS which was our major policy implemented encountered some challenges but because we are problem solver political party, we have been able to fix it and now about 1.2 Million students are enjoying free SHS. This is not a government that runs away from challenges.

"Again, we have stabilized the financial sector where now we can confidently say we have secured the funds of depositors, not to talk about planting for food and jobs, all I am saying is NPP has not turned Ghana into the United States of America but on the balance of probability, we have performed better,” he added.

He appealed to Ghanaians to give NPP another term to continue their good works.
