NDC Polling Agent Arrested After He Reportedly Stole A Mobile Phone @ Registration Centre
An NDC polling agent has been arrested after he reportedly stole a mobile phone at a registration centre in Awutu Bereku in the Central Region.
In a report filed by Peace FM correspondent Seth Mantey, the Electoral Officer of the centre complained of his missing phone and after investigation, it was found on the NDC agent whose name has not yet been disclosed.
Since the registration centre was close to the district's police station, the agent was immediately arrested.
When asked why he stole the phone, he reportedly said 'he felt the phone was attractive'; hence he decided to take it.
The party has meanwhile replaced the agent at the centre.
