The paramount chief of Peki Traditional area, His Royal Majesty Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII has lauded the formation of the New Peki Rivet Association and hope that the paramountcy will be notified of all its activities so that they participate fully in them, and also serve as a watchdog on their undertaking.

Togbega prayed that this new body will not follow the footsteps of other associations that start well and ended in disarray due to disagreements and implored all members to give their best to make it a success.

He cited examples of various projects initiated by other Peki groupings which ended abruptly due to gross neglect and disrespect towards traditional authorities and hope Peki Rivet Association is here to stay.

Acknowledging the Togbega during a courtesy call at his palace, Mrs. Fafa Peace Bankas founder of Peki Rivet Association expressed the team’s gratitude for his wise counsel and assured His Royal Majesty that the team will not be operating in isolation in Peki without his blessings and that of the authorities.

Part of the group’s objectives she said will be development-oriented projects within the various township and entreated the paramountcy to extend their support and identify themselves with the Association.

Peki Rivet Association seeks to provide a medium for

1. Networking & positive contribution towards development
2. Harmonize co-operation with other associations with similar interest
3. Preserve our culture and participation of Peki Indigenes in social activities.

The group was formed on the 6th of May 2020 and was launched in Accra on the 13th of June 2020.
