COVID-19: Ghana Is 4th Worse Country In Africa - Kwesi Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has asked the Akufo-Addo government to stop giving herself a pat on the back so far as the COVID-19 pandemic is concerned.

Ghana's COVID-19 has exceeded 28000, however over 25000 are said to have recovered from the disease.

The country's death toll remains at 153.

Although the country has not yet overcome the pandemic as every country worldwide likewise is struggling with the disease, the government and health officials are sounding the trumpet for good news.

NPP National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye is also optimistic the government's efforts coupled with Ghanaians' obedience with the health protocols could result in victory over the disease.

But, to Kwesi Pratt, the nation is nowhere near the expected victory.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', he stated that when it comes to the worse countries dealing with the disease in Africa, Ghana is ranked 4th.

''The facts must speak for themselves . . . Amongst the more than 50 countries in Africa, Ghana is fourth in terms of worse cases. In fact, when you mention five worse cases, Ghana is among; we're listed number 4. So, if in spite of this statistics, somebody wants to learn from Ghana; then I really wish them well''.
