Who Did Koku Anyidoho Refer To As "Someone Without Conscience" In NDC?

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democartic Congress (NDC) has labelled one of the party's stalwart as unprincipled and without conscience.

He, however, stopped short of openly naming the individual.

The onetime Director of Communications at the Presidency, was speaking to the issue of his decision to put his name up for election as NDC General Secretary.

Mr Anyidoho insists his decision to contest for the General Secretary position of the party was not borne out of an inordinate desire.

According to him, there was a gentleman’s agreement following a call he received from a bigwig in the party, offering him (Koku) blessings to vie for the Chief Scribe position.

Interestingly, and rather sadly, he reveals, that same person performed a remarkable volte-face.

Koku contested against Johnson Asiedu Nketia for the NDC General Secretary position in a tense election during the crucial national delegates congress in November 2018

Mr Asiedu Nketia was believed to own that position and very few dared to challenge him. Thus for Koku to have decided to contest the incumbent, brought on board new dynamics.

In perhaps one of his frankest interviews yet on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Mr Anyidoho, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute, sworn on his birth day that someone did indeed broke the gentleman’s agreement.

“I decided to contest for the General Secretary position not because of an unbridled desire or ambition, there was a gentleman’s agreement and I say it on the day I was born, Wednesday, that if someone says it is a lie, it is unto that person. There was a gentleman’s agreement that Koku, you will contest for the General Secretary of the party but if somebody renege on their word, that is up to him or her conscience,” he fumed.

Pushed to mention the person in question, Koku Anyidoho remained adamant, promising to disclose the identity of the person and give more details at the appropriate time; insisting that there was a gentleman’s agreement which got broken later before the Trade Fair Congress.

“This is not the time to mention the names of the parties involved in the gentleman’s agreement that I should contest for the General Secretary position of the party, but I will give details about it at the appropriate time but I am saying that there was a gentleman’s agreement and if somebody remerged that gentleman’s agreement, it is unto that person,” he insisted.

Well, we leave it to our readers and visitors to the site to unmask the fellow!!!
