Meet Kenyan Doctor Treating Covid-19 Patients

A Kenyan doctor working in the front-line of the coronavirus pandemic has opened up to the BBC on treating Covid-19 patients.

Dr Reena Shah says while treating Covid-19 patients, there's need for more precaution compared to other diseases.

The head of the infectious disease unit at Aga Khan University says her joy is meeting patients who have recovered from the disease.

"When I see them in clinic I just feel really good ... My lowest moment is whenever I have an adverse outcome with a patient," she says.

She says there's a lot that remains unknown about Covid-19.

Dr Shah advises health workers to protect themselves so as to be of help to the patients.
