More pedestrians are still using the speedways and crossing the road at unauthorized places at Madina Zongo Junction.

According to a Daily Graphic publication, the pedestrians still do not use footbridge but risk their lives by crossing the main road.

Hon. George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, touching on this issue, has cautioned Ghanaians against such attitude.

Speaking on UTV's Adekye Nsroma, Hon. Duker asked Ghanaians to amend their ways and urged them to use the footbridges instead of risking their lives on the roads, particularly at Madina/Adenta areas.

“We blame everything that happens to us on government. It is not a good practice to ignore the footbridge. We must have a different mentality as Ghanaians and stop blaming politicians for our negligence.”
