Father Of Student Who Insulted Akufo Addo Apologizes; Mother In 'Bad Condition’ After Seeing Video

Mr Joseph Kobina, the father of the WASSCE student who hurled insults on President Akufo-Addo has apologized to the First Gentleman of the land and to Ghanaians.

"I apologise for what my son did; I plead with Ghanaians to help me apologize to the President..." he told Peace FM correspondent, Appiah Danquah.

The final year student of Sekondi College who turned 18 years in May was recently seen in a video which has been widely circulated on social media hurling abusive words at President Akufo-Addo for not being able to write the paper for the day in the ongoing WASSCE.

According to the father "I was disheartened when I saw the video; I couldn't believe it. I learnt the phone belonged to his friend in school because he doesn't take a phone to school. I am really sorry for his behaviour"

Answering to the whereabouts of the boy's mother, Mr Kobina said "the condition of the mother is bad since she heard of what the son had done, so I hide some of the information from her"
