"This year started off as really challenging with the emergence of the Coronavirus pandemic; we lost many business transactions that were nearing conclusion. Personally, I had to even risk catching the virus by reporting on events and donations by some clients. However, we managed to get our kicks; even though it wasn't to our expectations. That's why it's very humbling and encouraging to have a business body such as the '40 Under 40 Awards' recognizing your work", he explained.

Jerry Wonder has focused on the arts and entertainment community as a journalist by writing on both interesting happenings, but most importantly, highlighting matters that need to be looked at for the progress of the Arts and entertainment community in Ghana. He has done this since 2017 through his media company Shine Publications.

He has also championed the need to form, resource and empower the National Film Authority and the establishment of a verifiable sales chart (Box Office) for Ghanaian movies by involving the Ghana Revenue Authority through series of publications and radio interviews from 2019 till date.
