Election 2020: Sammy Awuku, Kennedy Agyapong And Abronye DC Make A Strong Case For Nana Addo In Dorma East

The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku together with Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe and Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has jabbed former President and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a corrupt and visionless individual.

The three NPP leading members touring the Bono Region entreated Ghanaians to reject the candidacy of John Mahama but urged them to vote massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the December 7 elections.

Sammi Awuku in Dormaa East touted some of President Akufo-Addo’s achievements to over four thousand peasant farmers who have benefited from the provision of over seven hundred thousand (700000) seedlings under the Planting for Food and Jobs and also a Poultry Processing company under the government’s 1 District 1 Factory.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong, in his speech at Wamfie in the Dormaa East constituency during the campaign launch of the Parliamentary candidate Mr. Paul Twum Barimah on Friday, asked the party members to primarily focus on maintaining all NPP Parliamentary seats as well as winning new constituency seats.

On the part of the Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe a.k.a Abronye DC, he reminded Ghanaians of Mahama’s incompetence saying "we all know what the record was after 8 years of the NDC in government and we know what the record of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is as we speak today. We know, from the data that is available, that John Mahama managed our economy with incompetence.

The outspoken politician further accused former President John Mahama of embezzlement under his administration.

He stressed Mahama embezzled State funds and used the money to sponsor slay queens and other unnecessary things.

“All the money Mahama's government received went down the drain, and into their pockets with no accountability whatsoever”, Abronye told the gathering.

He advised the citizenry not to make a mistake to bring the former President back to power because he will mess up the economy again.

All the three NPP leaders called on Ghanaians to secure a second term for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the ruling NPP.

Present at the event were also the Deputy Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation, Hon Paul Sabi, the Regional Secretary Kofi Ofosu Boateng and other high-profile dignitaries.
