Rawlings Loved Ghana More Than Ghana Loved Him - Allotey Jacobs
Social Commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs has paid glowing tribute to former President Jerry John Rawlings who passed away on Thursday.
Speaking in an interview on UTV's Adekye Nsroma programme, he also recalled when they were involved in a terrible accident while traveling with the former President.
"We went for a by-election in Bimbilla...on our way, we were involved in an accident and his car somersaulted; there was darkness all over and all we could see was Rawlings wearing a white attire coming towards us. He inquired if we were okay. He wasn't thinking about himself, he was thinking about us...." he recollected.
