“Life Is Not About Finding Yourself; It’s About Creating Yourself” - Dr. Dominic Eduah To The Youth Of Western Region.

The Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah has advised the youth of the Western Region to seize opportunities that steer them towards the realization of the best versions of themselves.

Speaking at this year’s “Made in Taadi” Youth Seminar organized by Team Move and led by celebrated music artist, Martin King Arthur (A.K.A Kofi Kinaata), Dr. Eduah said there was a need for young people to reorient themselves and discard the notion that life is a journey towards finding one’s self.

He said, “rather than going through life with an idea of finding your purpose, it is important that life is understood as a constant quest to mould our ultimate selves through actual self development and the exploration of varying possibilities and experience.

According to him, to find one’s self is to assume a passive posturing to life; one that leaves much to chance. “As individuals, our purpose in life is to draw our own maps, have a dream, consciously work each day to achieving them,” he said.

He reminded the youth of the region to take advantage of the many opportunities opening up in this COVID-19 era and feed their curiosities through innovations and skill development rather than stifling their ‘inner creator’.

Dr. Dominic Eduah thanked the iconic Hiplife artiste for being a positive influence and role model for the Ghanaian youth and encouraged him to stay the course of inspiring excellence and positive attitude through his music.
