Success, Isn't Sexually Transmitted - Whitney Boakye Mensah Writes

1 of 365 days, in a year gone by where we fought many battles, company wise and as individuals, you learn so many lessons..permit me to share a few with you....

1. It is very ok, to work in a 9-5 job, and still be successful, not everyone is born an entrepreneur, you can still make it in life, whichever one you choose, and it is ok. May we as individuals never demean whichever one someone chooses

2. Collaborative work is good, but be discerning who you do that with, be careful who you introduce into networks you have taken a lifetime to build, sadly, a lot of people I have come to realise just want to know people to know their circles, so they can be a part of that circle, that is ok, people get to know people, but for most, they assume the glory in which you walk is from such circles and will stop at nothing to destroy your being, in pursuit of your glory. YES! You may think, but why me? You have no idea who wants your glory, not knowing the battles you fight. So be careful, and guard your little tribe.

3. Your mental health matters, I cannot emphasis on this enough, your only competition in this life is you, You, yes you, stop competing with existing and non existing lives and be content with your lot, if following certain pages, people, lifestyles, gives you anxieties that you are not blessed enough,or not making it in this life, for your mental health sake, put a pause on it. No one has it all figured out, absolutely no one.
4. Be ok not being included or invited to things.

5. Genuine hard work pays, however long it takes, take your time and trust the process. Success, isn't sexually transmitted.

6. Not everyone will like, you, love you, support you, but trust me when I write, those who do, will . People will claim support, but only when it makes them look good or there's some clout, know who your 2am buddies are, the ones you can call at 2am, and they will pick up to assist you, when you do, never take them for granted.

7. When people show you who they are believe them, and stop giving people the opportunity to repeatedly be comfortable disrespecting you,and taking you for granted.

May divinity know your name.
