Best Point Appoints Isaac Emmil Osei-Bonsu As Board Chairman

Best Point Savings and Loans Limited one of Ghana's leading financial institutions have appointed Mr. Isaac Emmil Osei-Bonsu as the new board chairman of the financial institution.

He Succeeds non- Executive Chairman of the bank, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong who has steered the affairs of the bank for the past six years.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mr. Osei –Bonsu expressed his appreciation for the honour done him adding that he will execute his duties without fear or favor.

The outgoing chairman, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong has been an outstanding leader during his six years as non-executive chairman. He made an invaluable contribution to the institution's growth and development through his decisive style and his commitment to steer the bank to deliver its objective of becoming the preferred choice of the sector, he added 

Background

Mr. Isaac Emmil Osei- Bonsu is a Barrister-at-Law of the Supreme Court Of Ghana, having received training from Ghana School Of Law, Accra. He was called to the Bar in February 1997. He is the senior partner of Minkah Premo &Co, a renowned Law Firm in Accra, and has served on the board of many institutions prior to his appointment.

As a lawyer, his expertise is in credit creation and debt recovery, commercial law, and real estate law and handles matters for both local and foreign clients including some of the country's strongest local entities and bluechip multinationals involved in varied sectors of the economy.

He has also been involved in the setting up and structuring of international businesses in Ghana and also provides transaction advisory services. his skill in advocacy, also makes him a consummate negotiator, and has been called upon by many businesses to negotiate contracts on their behalf.

He lectures at the firm's training arm, The Law Institute on credit creation and Securitization. Mr. Emmil Osei-Bonsu is a traditional ruler and the Etwienana hene of kyebi with the stool name Barima Kwaku Dua.

He is married with two (2) kids and an avid golfer.
