NPP Needs To Restrategize For 2024 Election Or Else . . . - Nana Obiri Boahen Warns

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has underscored the need for the party to restrategize for 2024 or they risk losing the elections.

According to him, events of the 2020 general elections has really opened their eyes to certain pertinent issues in the party that needs serious attention and wholesomely addressed.

Speaking On Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained this is not the time for the party either at the grassroots or national level to be apportioning blames but rather go back to the drawing board and replan for the party.

"I was very shocked when I realized the NDC was gaining momentum and even capturing some of our seats. Though I knew NDC was going to get some votes, I did not know it was going to be like this."

"The party has done a lot for Ghanaians but it looks like they are expecting more from us which we cannot stand to fail or disappoint them," he added.

He noted that the party should rise up and iron all their differences and lace their boot for the arduous task ahead for the next general elections in 2024.

He reiterated that Ghanaians are depending on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for a better and prosperous Ghana and the party cannot afford to fail them because the party failed in the recently held parliamentary election.
