8 More Succumb To COVID-19 In Less Than 24 Hours…Ghana's Active Cases Now 6,707

In less than 24 hours, Ghana's active cases have shot up again to 6,707 from a previous 6,411 according to updates by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Per the updates on the GHS official website, 795 new cases have been recorded.

This brings the cumulative figure to 72,328 with 65,149 persons said to have recovered/discharged.

Eight more people have died from the virus increasing the death toll to 472.

Meanwhile, as of 6th February 2021, a total number of 1,158 cases have been recorded from International travelers at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA)
