NDC’s Own ASEPA Has Called The Leadership Of The Party Out

According to the Executive Director of the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), Mensah Thompson, the group is scandalized by the failure of the party’s leadership to make their collated results available for purposes of the ongoing petition at the Supreme Court.

They cannot bring themselves to accept the fact that the rank and file of the party were made to believe that the party had a watertight and solid defence mechanism by way of evidence but have failed to make them available in court.

In his submission, Mensah Thompson believes that the only logical explanation behind this embarrassing episode is that the leadership of the party, once again, failed to collate the 2020 results.

History has repeated itself in an unfortunate accuracy, Mensah Thompson asserts. He and his ASEPA team have called on party members to demand answers from the leadership of the party for disgracing them in the Supreme Court.

Their own party members are expressing disappointment in their abysmal performance in court as a result of the failure of the leadership to ensure that the party collated the 2020 elections’ results.

The Supreme Court was explicit in its directives to counsels for the petitioner and respondents to file the closing addresses before today.

As of now, the petitioner has failed to comply with the directive of the Supreme Court.

Such a blatant disregard of the court’s directive by the petitioner should attract punitive penalties and sanctions.

The Supreme Court may want to be tough in its handling of the issue this morning, but trust the petitioner and his supporters to sing their mantra, ‘The Supreme Court is against us’.

The Supreme Court should not let them have their way this time round!
