Dash AM Foundation Takes Their #Mask A Child Campaign To The Volta Region

“The fight against the dreaded COVID-19 certainly cannot be defeated if we don’t fight it collectively as a country”.

The above statement was made by Mrs. Dorothy Afi Ayivor Amelor. Mrs. Dorothy Afi Ayivor Amelor is a geologist by profession and works with a world-renowned Oil and Gas company. She is the founder of the DASH AM FOUNDATION.
During the first day of the foundation’s tour to the Volta Region, the team visited a number of schools in the Ketu South and Ketu North Municipality.

Some schools visited during the tour are Sukladzi R.C School, Sohume Basic School, and Kpeyiborkofe Primary, R.C Post Office Primary School, Denu and Wudoaba Basic School.
The Founder spoke extensively alongside her team, with a strong emphasis on the need to fight collectively regardless of our differences.

Students were taken through the necessary precautionary measures in other not to become victims of the Covid 19 disease or become carriers to convey the Covid 19 Virus; SARS-Cov-2. With the issue of certain groups becoming asymptotic is the more reason why the protocols need to be properly implemented to avoid the reoccurring of the disease especially in people with underlying conditions.

The Covid 19 awareness Campaign program was climaxed by distributing 1500 reusable nose masks and 100s of face shields to the students and teachers respectively of the various schools visited.

Teachers especially appreciated this call as they see it as a worthy deed from DASH AM FOUNDATION. Teachers from kindergarten also expressed their gratitude since now they have reusable masks made to perfectly fit children at lower ages.
