Nana Ama Mcbrown Testified To Assist Court In Bulldog's Case - Counsel Clarifies

Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown on Wednesday, March 31, appeared before an Accra Circuit Court as witness in the ongoing case between artiste Manager Bulldog and the Republic of Ghana.

Bulldog, real name Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, has been charged with “offensive conduct to breaches of the peace” following a comment he made on UTV's entertainment programme ''United Showbiz'' which is aired every Saturday.

Nana Ama Mcbrown, hostess of the United Television programme, was cited as witness because it was on her programme that Bulldog allegedly made threatening comments against the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Bulldog is alleged to have said; "The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will not finish his four year ternure if he fails to pay customers of an alleged ponzo scheme by Menzgold".

The actress mounted the witness box at the court to testify in the case.

Clarifying issues to the public, Counsel for Nana Ama Mcbrown, stated emphatically that his client wasn't a prosecution witness but rather was in court to testify to assist court in the ongoing case.

It is important to note the difference in order to dispel any misconceptions and wrong perceptions about the role of Nana Ama Mcbrown in the Bulldog court case.

The actress cum TV Presenter has been discharged as witness and will no longer appear before the court.
