Kumawu DCE Jabs Prof Jane Naana

"...her statement should be condemned; where's the leakage? what is leaking a bucket or a saucepan?" Kumawu DCE takes a swipe at 2020 running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

Samuel Addai Agyekum was reacting to some comments made by the former Minister of Education in the erstwhile Mahama administration.

Prof Opoku-Agyemang in an interview on Woezor TV said: "And they (WASSCE candidates) went and wrote the exams we heard the leakage of the exams, we heard of invigilators being compromised, we heard many many things and we also saw the students come out and speak about, 'no this is not what we were told will happen', now these students have as and we are happy? it is up to us"

The Kumawu DCE speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM said it's unacceptable for a stateswoman to make such comments.

According to him, the former Minister "feels threatened" and afraid of losing her position in the party; that is why she's making such comments.

"She feels threatened because she has realized that she will soon be out of the system; she's just jealous and envious of the work being done at the Education Ministry. What did she do when she was minister of education?

She exhibited incompetence in her statement...she spoke as a politician and she will receive a political response. She should stop insulting the intelligence of teachers" he added.
