In the wave of the transformation happening in the Greater Accra Region by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo administration, Mr. Ben Kwaku Asare, political activist has called on the general public to relentlessly support the Regional Minister in the discharge of his duty.

According to him, Hon. Quartey who doubles as member of parliament for Ayawaso Central deserves commendation for his initiatives and hard work aimed at developing the region.

"As a Master of Arts Degree in Conflict, Peace and Security and a Master of Science Degree in Energy and Sustainable Management I commend the efforts of NPP government because What they are doing is in line with Sustainable Development Goal 11 which aims to Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable and in the long run affect goals 1 , 3 and 6 respectively."

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr. Henry Quartey, since assuming office has set out to tackle the issues of sanitation that have become a drawback to the capital city’s development.

The Minister first set out to ease traffic congestion at some locations and also put an end to trading along major streets in Accra as the activity occasioned a lot of filth.

The initiative dubbed: “Make Accra work” project, seeks to address the myriad of challenges facing the region that have won him the admiration of many Ghanaians.

This has led Mr. Ben Kwaku Asare describing him (Hon. Henry Quartey) as a man of substance and called for more support in his quest in making Accra clean.

Mr. Asare also commended the various state institutions that have lent a hand of support to the ministers agenda , the police , the southern command, the fire service among others .
