The National Treasurer of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah has disclosed his intention to contest the party’s National Chairman position when nomination is opened.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Abankwah Yeboah affirmed his decision to contest the Chairman position because he possesses the qualities to connect the party and the grassroots for victory 2024.

Mr. Abankwah Yeboah also emphasized his main concern is to work towards the success of the party and Akufo-Addo administration and called all party faithfuls to rally behind his agenda.

“Even though I intend to contest, my main priority is to see that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government succeeds. The party should be behind him fully to achieve and fulfil the expectations of the people of this country and for the party to win victory in 2024,” he said.

Mr. Kwabena Abankwah Yeboah is currently the National Treasurer of the ruling party, a post he has held since July 2016.
