The Ghanaian Youth In Focus - Shadrach Owusu

Former National Coordinating Secretary of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) Shadrach Owusu,  has revealed that with the right mentorship from the older generation and the willingness and humility to be mentored on the part of the youth, the Young would be able to lead.

Taking inspiration from his exposure as a former student leader in Ghana and member of the International Model United Nations in Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, Shadrach underscored the need for the Ghanaian youth to be zealous to do more exploits and add to the gains of the older generation. So that those who will come after will take up the story and continue.

Shadrach said “I believe the youth of Ghana are willing to be more impactful. We only need proper mentorship and it is my hope that we will be humble enough to be mentored”

“As we celebrate International Youth Day, may every youth be reminded of his/her role in the society, for our country and for posterity” Shadrach added.
