PROFORUM: Prepare Before Going To Such Events - Sam Pyne Jabs Mahama Over Comments On Ghana’s Economy
Former President John Mahama, at a forum organized by the Professionals Forum (PROFORUM) on Monday, said, "despite these favourable conditions, most of the gains we made and bequeathed to this government have been eroded and we have been plunged into further economic crisis”.
According to him, “COVID-19 has become the convenient whipping boy and has been cited as the reason for the crisis we face now and the attendant economic hardships”.
Reacting to this during a panel discussion on Kumasi-based Hello FM, the Ashanti Regional Secretary, Sam Pyne criticized the former President's comments; asking him to get his facts right.
"You're supposed to be a statesman; prepare whenever you're going to such programmes because obviously you were not prepared or you see Ghanaians as fools . . . " he advised former President Mahama.
