Akuapem North: 383 NABCO Beneficiaries Gain 12 Million Cedis In 4 Years - Former MCE Reveals

Akuapen North former MCE, Dennise Aboagye has revealed that over 383 unemployed youth have been engaged and contributing to national development since 2018.

According to him, the employees have been paid to keep “body and soul together as they gain experience and hunt for their desired jobs”. 

“176 have since gained permanent jobs without having to suffer hunger in the wait period. We currently have about 207 hitherto unemployed Youth in my municipality who are currently engaged under NABCO, contributing to the development of Akuapem North and earning an allowance to keep them off the street and feed their family.”

Akuapem North has seen over 12 million cedis injected into our local economy as allowances to the beneficiaries and usually spent on food, clothing, housing and transportation.

This is happening across the country in all 265 MMDAs.

“Now, if this is not a master stroke from the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice President Dr. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia then I wonder if there could be anything else.

“Let’s continue to keep the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) in government as we seek to introduce innovative policies geared towards reducing the hardship in our communities”, he stressed.
