Ex- Ghana FA Boss Wants Bernhard Lippert Sacked

Former Ghana FA Chairman Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe says he would have sacked the Technical Director Bernhard Lippert if he was still at post.

The German trainer has come under  pressure after Charles Kwabla Akonnor and his deputies were sacked on Monday.

Lippert, a former Technical Director for Azerbaijan has failed to make an impact in Ghana football since he was appointed in October 2020 to replace Oti Akenteng.

The German recommended two players from the Bundesliga II Daniel Kofi Kyereh and Braydon Manu for the Black Stars in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.

One of the two players invited Braydon Manu revealed to the media he didn’t deserve the call up, a big indictment on Bernhard Lippert who recommended the player.

Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has also added his voice to those calling for his head indicating he was part of CK Akonnor’s failure.

“I would have fired him [Lippert] immediately because it is his advise that led CK [Akonnor] into this sort of situation in which he is unless CK ignores some of the advises he gives. But if CK listens to him carefully then some of the technical advises he has been given is totally rubbish and that led us to this sort of situation we find ourselves so if CK is gone, he should follow him,” he said in an interview with Metro TV.
