It was all joy in Atebubu-Amanten Municipality when the newly reappointed MCE, Hon. Edward Owusu took the opportunity to visit the two Traditional Councils, Nananom of Amantin and Nananom of Atebubu to thank them for the confidence they had in him by supporting him in all endeavours to be reappointed as their MCE for the second term

Hon. Edward Owusu used the opportunity to also thank the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his commitment to support the ruling government in achieving one of its key objectives which is "Breaking the eight". He also sought for the continuous support of Nananom in order to make his administration more successful

Almost all the Chiefs at the events also thanked the president for reappointing their MCE. They were full of praises of the MCE for his unprecedented achievements chalked during his first tenure in office and advised him to do well to bring everyone on board in unity regardless of the internal party wranglings that characterised the reappointment process and this will go a long to make him more successful in his second term

Most of the residents present could not hide their joy for the reappointment and they were happily shouting "Adwumawura Ababio", the King of projects, etc. And they equally used the opportunity to demand for more developmental projects
