The General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr. John Boadu has been receiving commendations, recognitions and praises from almost all the NPP Delegates in 8 regions that the Chief scribe has visited to take part in the party's annual delegates conference.
Some of the executives though not yet time for their campaign for national officers, both regional and constituency were unable to hide their gratitude to the General Secretary for his contributions towards the successes of the party in the two general elections held in the Country for NPP to win and sustain power.
Speaking at the Bono Regional delegates conference of the party held In Sunyani, Mr. Kwame Baffoe Abronye said, Mr John Boadu acted as the General Secretary after the suspension of Mr Kwabena Agyapong in 2015 and helped the party to win the 2016 general elections. He was subsequently elected as the General Secretary in Koforidua at a national delegates conference and went on to help the party to win the 2020 general elections.
The Bono Regional chairman added that, now that the party is bent on breaking the 8 years election cycle, the winning player in the person of Mr John Boadu can't be substituted but rather he should be encouraged to do more, unlike the opposition party who has decided to promote a two time failed General Secretary to party Chairman.
This endorsement comes after the Mp for Damango Constituency and the minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor also in Daboya in the Savannah Region openly declared his support Mr John Boadu and invited other party faithfuls to also do so and maintain John Boadu as the General Secretary of the party. Since we don't change the winning team. In his view, per the track records of Mr. John Boadu, he deserves another chance to lead the party as the General Secretary.
