Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has reiterated that she is not broke, so won't backtrack on her words to Ghanaians about how wealthy she is for which she came under fire months ago.

The actress recently threw herself to social media trolls after she allowed a GoFundme - a fundraising platform - to be created for her after her house and belongings were burned to ashes.

Afaglo, who is married to the Choirmaster of Praye Fame, took to her Instagram page to announce a fire outbreak that had razed her house, therefore courting public sympathy.

But the sympathy didn't last long as her sad experience took a twist when a colleague actress, Yvonne Nelson reportedly set up a GoFundme account to seek financial help for her.

Beverly Afaglo received a public backlash because she had earlier blew her own trumpet about she being rich and born into an affluent family.

Speaking on UTV's ''United Showbiz'' hosted by Abeiku Santana on Saturday, 9th October, 2021, Beverly Afaglo's tape where she was seemingly bragging was played back to her and, in her reply, she said; ''I will not retract this statement any time any day because I didn't lie''.
