anti-LGBTQ+ Bill: Homosexuals Must Face Execution - Kwaku Bonsam

Popular fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has added his voice to the ongoing LGBTQ+ controversies in Ghana, declaring his position on the issue.

According to him, any person who is caught in the act of homosexuality should be terminated with immediate effect.

Ningo-Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George in an interview on CNN on Friday, October 8, 2021, reiterated the need for the enactment of the anti-gay bill that seeks to criminalize homosexuality in Ghana.

Sam George indicated that Ghanaian culture and over 90 percent of the populace frown on homosexual activities.

The MP, who has been publicly vociferous about the LGBTQ+ issue and proposed the bill, together with seven other Parliamentarians and many Ghanaians including some churches have thrown a huge support behind the bill but the bill strongly opposed by a group of Professors, lawyers and Civil Society Organizations who argue it is an encroachment on fundamental human rights.

To Kwaku Bonsam, not only should the bill be passed but also the constitution should be amended to include a provision that says homosexuals must face execution.

"Those LGBTQ+ people must all be killed. Leviticus 20 vrs 13 says any male who engages in a sexual act with another male should be killed. So, any man who sodomizes his fellow man must be cut into pieces or die by hanging," he told Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM's ''Best Entertainment''.
