Dr. Fadda Dickson Narh, Managing Director of Despite Media, has been honored with a doctorate degree conferred by the George Fox University at Newberg (USA) for his excellence, hard work and outstanding service to community.
Dr. Fadda Dickson was honored with the Doctor of Philosophy in Executive Leadership and Business Administration.
The honor, which is under the auspices of the World Dipomatic Federation and Rectitude International Mission, two reputable organizations responsible for awarding persons that positively impact society, came off on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
His Emeritus Eminence, Prof. Joseph Tyler Cuddeford, an Associate Dean of George Fox University; His Right Noble Lord Provost Commissioner of North America, Daniel Bach De Haven; His Meritorious Eminence, Chief Executive Chancellor, Dr. Christian Kwetey Kweitsu and His Right Noble Lord Provost Commissioner, Nana Obokrom Atta IX who is also the Odikro of Gomoa Dasum Amankorahene of Gomoa Akyenpim, presented Dr. Fadda Dickson with a prestigious medal of excellence and citation of his good works.
In his address, His Meritorious Eminence, Dr. Christian Kwetey Kweitsu, highlighted "Dr Dickson's tip-top managerial skills and enormous contributions to media service in Ghana", which they considered to be "second to none".
Describing his achievements as "written in gold, crystal clear for all and sundry to see and bear witness of his well-deserving accolade as the 'godfather' of Ghana's media", Dr. Kwetey Kweitsu said "when it comes to business administration and management, particularly in the media circle, his skill set is unequaled"; he has nurtured media practitioners to become great leaders and also manned Despite Media Group comprising Peace FM, Peacefmonline, Okay FM, Neat FM, Hello FM and UTV to greater heights of sucess.
The George Fox University, ranked as one of the top Universities in the United States by Forbes, and which prides itself as an unapologetically Christian University, having done their homework on Fadda Dickson noted they were without doubt that he "deserves this honor" as they described him as an ''embodiment of local news''.
A citation of conferment presented to him read; ''George Fox University, College of Physical Therapy, upon recommendation and by the authority of the Associate Dean, the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Executive Leadership and Business Administration Honoris Causa is hereby conferred upon Mr. Fadda Dickson Narh with all the rights, privileges, and obligations thereto appertaining.''
