Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies have qualified for the final of the maiden Women’s Champions League.

They beat Morocco’s ASFAR in the first semifinal of the day by two goals to one.

Doris Boaduwaa opened the scoring for the Ghanaian side before Najat Badri scored the equalizer for the Moroccan side.

The Ghanaian champions are hot favourites to win the competition following their breathtaking performances in the group stage.

They opened their account with a 3-1 win over Malabo King's and scored three again in their second game against AS Mande.

Hasaacas Ladies scored two in their last game but wasn't enough as they drew 2-2 with Wadi Delga, a result that confirmed their first position in the group.

The Ghanaians proved that winning WAFU-B qualifiers was not a coincidence, as they dominated Group A winning two games and drawing one to go on top.

Now they have set a date in the “grand finale” as they are eyeing the maiden Women’s Champions League title.

Hasaacas Ladies will meet either Mamelodi Sundowns or Malabo King's in the grand finale.
