Why Chicken Out If Your Prophecies Are From God . . . Cowards!!! – Prophet Oduro Jabs

Founder and leader of the Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has teased prophets who couldn't give any prophecy concerning Ghana during the crossover services following a directive from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.

“If you are a man, prophesy and say needless things. You are dead when you are arrested and sent to Tesano or Accra Command and finally remanded at Nsawam. You will have sores all over your anus by the time you return,” he mocked.

The IGP prior to 31st December night cautioned against doom prophesies which some Pastors usually give during the crossover services.

A Change in the Prophetic arena

Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Isaac Owusu-Bempah, during his 2021 Watch Night and Cross Over event at the church headquarters in Accra, unlike his usual, decided to go the proverbial way.

He told his members: “God bless you for waiting. In due time, God will allow us to speak clearly on issues. Today is for wise and proverbial sayings, so let’s take it like that. As a man of God and as revealed to me by God, I have to do my master’s bidding. All I told you proverbially pray about it as you understand it, and let’s pray for divine intervention”.

The founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie also focused on a different country 'Umuofia'

“I am not talking to the people of Ghana because of the repressive system going on in Ghana. I am not talking about the topographical, geographical land called Ghana. I am prophesying to a nation called Umuofia,” he said.

"Cowards"

Prophet Oduro reacting to this, described the Prophets who couldn't prophesy because of the directives as "cowards". According to him, if the prophecies were from God, they wouldn't be afraid to say it.

“The prophecies have been locked in rooms. I didn’t know Ghanaian prophets feared Police arrest. You are cowards.  John the Baptist and Paul were imprisoned . . . the righteous is bold as a lion,” Prophet Oduro said.

“Some people are afraid of the police station. When Dampare was at Lapaz checking the state of security in the area, people were in their churches complaining that he is preventing them from prophesying . . . I want to tell the prophets of Ghana – maybe it’s not the Almighty God and the God of the Bible you people are working with, but if it is the God of the Bible, speak the word, and he will defend the word; prophesy and he will defend the word but if you say ‘unnecessary things’, you’d be jailed.”

“If God gives me a message to be delivered to the President, he will hear it; I don’t care about what laws you have in the country. Likewise, when God gives me a word for the IGP, he will hear it; I don’t care what law you have in this country,” he added.
