Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed his heartfelt condolence to families who lost their loved ones in the explosion that occurred on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Apiate near Bogoso. 

He also wished individuals who got injured in the tragic event a speedy recovery.  

The Vice President Bawumia’s message to the victims read:  

My heartfelt condolences to the families of the individuals who lost their lives in today’s explosion in Apiate near Bogoso, in the Western Region.

To those who were injured in the unfortunate occurrence, I wish you Godspeed recovery. 

His message comes shortly after President Akufo-Addo stated that his government, will spare no effort to ensure a rapid return to a situation of normalcy for residents of Apiate.
