Techiman Water Supply Rehabilitation And Expansion Project To Commence Soon - Cecilia Dapaah Reveals

The Techiman Water Supply Rehabilitation and Expansion project will soon commence after feasibility study and project site design have been completed.

This was revealed by the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah.

Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah stated this in Parliament whilst answering a question asked by Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, MP for Techiman South.

Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah wanted to know the current state and scope of the Techiman Water Supply Rehabilitation and Expansion Project under the Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund Loan.

According to the Minister, evaluation of technical proposals for the shortlisted firms have been completed and no objection has been raised by Korean Exim Bank which granted the loan of US $100 million for the project.

She added that opening of the financial proposal of the firm which won the technical proposal has also been completed and contract award is being processed for the consultant to move to site to undertake detailed feasibility study and design work for the project.
