Charter House, the organisers of the annual MTN Ghana Music Awards yesterday at Citizen Kofi in Osu presented to the winners of the 12th edition of the awards their prizes. Each winner apart from the plaque presented to them on the 9th April, 2011 at the Dome,Accra International conference Centre received a cheque of 1.500 GHC each. However, the winner of Best music for Development, Reggy Zippy received GHC 3000 from the World Bank. All the other nominees took home GHC 300.00. Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson�s Glaucoma Foundation also received GHC 300.00 for educating the general public on the causes, treatment and prevention of the disease.
