Managing Director of the Intercity STC, Nana Akomea, has lauded the Police administration for their presence almost everywhere in the country.

Currently, there is a strong presence of Police personnel on the streets in the capital city and across the nation.

This move by the security service is to ensure the safety of the citizens as well as clamp down on criminal activities.

Contributing to Peace FM's panel discussion programme "Kokrokoo", Nana Akomea was full of commendations for the Ghana Police Service for beefing up security as he believed this step will help strengthen the country's stability.

"It helps to strengthen our security. It is significant. We are stable . . . We've been peaceful," he stated.
